Direct global Missions Committee

The Direct Global Missions Committee is tasked as follows:

 Investigating, evaluating and making decisions as to the distribution of the church's funds set aside for direct global missions projects.

2010 members of this committee include:

Established in 2001, the DGMC investigates and identifies both missionaries and missions projects / locations that are either unfunded or underfunded. In most cases, there is some contact or relationship to the situation or person involved. God has blessed us with several long term relationships and many shorter term partnerships. Primarily the committee works through the SBC's International Mission Board and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's Global Missions staff to identify both large and small projects all over the world.

Operating under church adopted guidelines, the DGMC oversees the distribution of 2.6% of our church's undesignated budget receipts, which was $92,929  for the 2009-2010 budget year.
