Germany

IMB missionaries, steven and susan jett, are serving in Bruhl, germany.  We know them as Clarence Jett's son and good friends of Ray and Jane Parrott, members of central. 

 The direct global missions committee has had the opportunitiy to be involved in their ministry by sending retired missionaries, the lancas, back to germany to provide marionette training.  This training has been useful in their marketplace ministry.  We have also helped fund evangelistic materials for the live nativity done each december, as well as purchase film for pictures taken with the live animals.

through the imb, the jetts have begun the bible training center for pastors.  it is for those who want practical help in church planting as well as assistance in training for the missions sending agency connected with the seminary.  This is extended to other christian groups who do not have the accessibility to receive the training that those with the imb are able to have.

Germany is home to 82,000,000 people.  Only about 1.8% are "born again" believers.  Most claim no faith, Roman Catholic, or evangelical lutheran.

Join us in praying for the jetts as they minister in the marketplace, in the seminary, and in the training center.   Pray for those who attend as they go back to their places of ministry and share with their fellow believers and prepare to lead in reaching others for christ. pray for their presence in the marketplace that the word of god will touch the lives of those who gather.
